CSS - “How I Became Paranoid”
You may remember CSS from their iPod touch ad, or you might remember them from their raucous and edgy self-titled debut. Well, CSS released their sophomore album, Donkey, this past week, and although I feel like they’ve lost a bit of the edge, they kept the same upbeat feel I know and love.
This track, “How I Became Paranoid”, should give you a sense of what I’m talking about with the mildly-clubby synths behind the more accessible sound found on the album. Fans of CSS should feel right at home with this track, a great Saturday driving song that sports a chorus that I can’t seem to get out of my head.
An interesting little song. Seems like all the iPod commercial songs are ones I like. Go figure.
